Left chest

The wearable default. Small letters, a mark, or a two-color hit sits on the wearer’s left so it reads when someone is talking to you. This is the placement that still works in a lecture hall in March. Embroidery belongs here more often than a giant print. Keep it small enough that it is a garment, not a billboard.

Oversized back

Thigh

The sweatpants equivalent of left chest: upper outer thigh, not the knee, not a full-leg mural unless that is a one-event pair. Letters or a short mark.
